About JRV Home Inspection Services, LLC
“The aim of education should be to teach us rather how to think, than what to think– rather to improve our minds, so as to enable us to think for ourselves, than to load the memory with thoughts of other men.” – Bill Beattie
My goal as your Connecticut home inspector is to first and foremost educate you, my client. It is not my job to make decisions for you, but instead to provide you with all the information I am able in order for you to make your own choices. I would never assume to know what is right for you, but together we can explore what you are comfortable accepting and what you are not. After all you not me, the agent, etc, will be the one living in the house.
Hiring JRV Home Inspection Services you are contracting with a highly trained, experienced, professional using the most current methods and equipment. I dedicate over 10 hours each year in continuing education classes to keep my skills and knowledge up to date (CT requires 20 hours every 2 years). I use various instruments and equipment to gather data to aid in discovering potential or current issues. This helps me to provide you with a reasonably accurate account of the conditions present in your new home. Finally I compose off site, a professionally written report specifically for your home that documents the conditions present at the time of the inspection.
