JRV does not recommend mold sampling and testing simply because you are buying a home
We strongly suggest reading the information and using the links on our mold page to give you some insight into this health and environmental issue before deciding to have any mold sampling and testing performed. Many times assessment and sampling are not necessary because no conducive conditions are present in the home. However if you wish to have sampling done we suggest you thoroughly research any sampling providers you are considering hiring. Connecticut does not regulate mold sampling providers and as such qualifications can vary greatly from one individual or company to the next.
